GOYFF Opioid Campaign Named Emmy, Addy & Telly Award Winner

In 2018, the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family contracted with Cox Media to produce a series of PSAs to increase awareness about the opioid epidemic. The created spots won three awards: an Addy Award, Telly Award and an Emmy Award. The PSAs were produced in collaborations with Crossroads, Cox Media and the Arizona Broadcasters Association.

American Advertising Award (ADDY Award)

One of the advertising industry's largest creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through local club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.

Telly Awards

Honors excellence in video and television across all screens. The Telly Awards is an industry voice and champion for creative work from all disciplines and is a platform that celebrates creators. 

2018 Emmy Award (Rocky Mountain Region): Single Spot or Campaign Award Winner

Recognizes outstanding achievements in television and allied media in the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter’s designated award region of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and El Centro, California. Honors the continued pursuit of excellence for those working in the television and media industry and focuses public attention on outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news, informational programming and craft achievements in television and online. The awards are judged by a panel of industry peers.
