Sexual Assault Services Response (SASP) Request for Grant Application (RFGA) Announcement

Applications for the Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) Grant (RFGA#: SASP-WSG-21-080121-00) are now being accepted. Approximately $460,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to provide direct intervention and related assistance to rural, tribal or underserved victims of sexual assault.

The grant, with a maximum annual award of $100,000 per grantee, is renewable for a combined term of 3 years. The grant application will close at 5:00 PM on May 11, 2021. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family invites grant applications from non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, Faith-based organizations, or Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions or Tribal 501(c)(3) organizations that provide direct intervention, core services, and related assistance to sexual assault victims of all ages.

Due to meeting restrictions associated with the outbreak of COVID-19, a non-mandatory virtual pre-application conference will be held on April 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM via Zoom. About the Sexual Assault Services Response (SASP) Grant

The funds awarded under this Request for Grant Application (RFGA) are federal funds and were made available by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and administered by the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women. SASP funds provide core services, direct intervention, and related assistance to victims of sexual assault. Services include, but are not limited to: dual programs, which offer both sexual violence and domestic violence intervention services; medical services; criminal justice system support; as well as social support systems.
