The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) works to create a safe, healthy and bright future for all Arizona as envisioned by Governor Doug Ducey. The office convenes and staffs eight Governor appointed commissions. The staff works directly with funded partners and community stakeholders to leverage assets to improve the lives of all of Arizona’s youth and families, thereby creating a great state to raise a family.

October 2, 2017 

Governor Doug Ducey lights the Capitol dome purple as a symbol of Arizona's dedication to ending domestic violence. “This is an issue that affects all ages, races, religions, socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels. I encourage Arizonans to stand with me as we send the unwavering message that domestic violence can stop.” Please join us for this annual event to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence; It can stop. 

Addiction: The Elephant In the Room

As a kick-off to National Red Ribbon Week, "Addiction: The Elephant In the Room" is an event that gathers youth, families, educators and medical professionals with the goal of reducing the stigma that surrounds addiction and informing attendees that prevention is a much better means of dealing with this issue.

As Director of the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF), Debbie oversees state and federal funds, as well as eight statewide councils and commissions including, substance abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, juvenile justice, faith based initiatives, service and volunteerism and the Governor’s Youth Commission. GOYFF provides oversight, funding, technical assistance and resources to coalitions and non-profits throughout the state to support some of Arizona’s most vulnerable populations.
