$460K Available to Support Sexual Assault Services across Arizona

Applications for the Sexual Assault Services Program Grant (RFGA#: RFGA-SASP-GOYFF-080124-00) are now being accepted. Approximately $460,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to implement direct intervention and related assistance to rural, tribal, and underserved victims of sexual assault. 

The grant, with a maximum annual award of $100,000 per grantee, is renewable for a combined term of 3 years. The grant application will close on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 5:00 PM (MST). The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include 501(c)(3) Organizations; Faith-based Organizations; and Arizona Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions, and Tribal 501(c)(3) organizations that provide intervention, core services, and related assistance to sexual assault victims of all ages.

About the Sexual Assault Services Response (SASP) Grant

The funds awarded under this Request for Grant Application (RFGA) are federal funds made available by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and administered by the US Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). SASP funds provide core services, direct intervention, and related assistance to victims of sexual assault. Services include, but are not limited to, dual programs, which offer both sexual violence and domestic violence intervention services; medical services; criminal justice system support; as well as social support systems.
