PHOENIX —The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) has awarded $729,000 to eight Arizona organizations to address the needs of at-risk and delinquent youth, prevent juvenile delinquency, reduce recidivism, and tackle racial and ethnic disparities. The funding will support programs in Arizona’s urban, rural, and tribal communities to implement comprehensive, community-based programming that improves outcomes for the state’s at-risk and delinquent youth and their families.
“Arizona remains committed to strengthening initiatives to prevent juvenile delinquency and reduce juvenile recidivism,” said the GOYFF Director Tonya Hamilton. “I look forward to seeing the transformative impact of this funding as we expand efforts to improve outcomes for at-risk youth statewide.”

The Title II Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Formula Grant (Title II) is funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). This grant is authorized under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) Act, as amended in 2018, and is subject to this statute’s requirements, terms, and regulations.
