AmeriCorps Program Administrator

The AmeriCorps Program Administrator administers Arizona's AmeriCorps State and National funding by providing training, technical assistance, and compliance monitoring activities for 10 AmeriCorps subgrantees. In partnership with the AmeriCorps staff team, this position will also participate in community outreach and events such as planning and coordinating the annual Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Civic Engagement, the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards, and other relevant events.

Service and Volunteerism Specialist

The Service and Volunteerism Specialist collaborates with key stakeholders to establish goals and objectives related to youth leadership and civic engagement for inclusion in Arizona's state service plan. This position is responsible for staffing the Governor’s Youth Commission (GYC), which includes managing the application process, selecting candidates, and onboarding and training commissioners. The Specialist also facilitates the GYC workgroup, executive committee, and quarterly meetings in coordination with the chairs, which may require working some evenings and/or weekends. Additionally, the Specialist assists the AmeriCorps Director in planning and coordinating the annual Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Civic Engagement, the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards, and other relevant events to ensure the representation of youth voices.

Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program Administrator

The Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program Administrator is responsible for planning, implementing, administering, and monitoring the progress of the Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program (TISAPP) Grant. This includes coordinating the preparation and implementation of the grant application and renewal procedures. Key responsibilities involve developing a timeline and collaborating with finance staff and grant review panels to award grants and contracts. Additionally, this position oversees the Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership (ASAP) Council, including planning and preparing agendas, meeting dates, and presentations for quarterly meetings.
