June 23, 2022

PHOENIX — The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) has awarded $200,000 in grant funding to five Arizona programs to support child abuse and neglect primary prevention programs, and child and family advocacy centers in Arizona that provide resources and services to victims of child abuse and neglect. Funding will be used to support programs that are trauma-informed, family-centered, strength-based, and evidence-based or evidence-informed in Arizona's urban, rural, and tribal communities.

“I’m grateful for the ongoing efforts of partner organizations statewide to support children and families and improve outcomes across our state,” said Director Maria Cristina Fuentes. “These dollars are critical to supporting the delivery of meaningful and effective services that support child well-being.”
