The AmeriCorps Federal Agency, legally known as the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), offers an annual AmeriCorps funding opportunity, entirely separate from the State Formula process, where applicants may apply directly to the federal solicitation that is administered by the CNCS. The Federal solicitation is now available to applicants. The Notice of Funding Opportunity and all related application materials are on the AmeriCorps website. Applications will be submitted directly to the CNCS through the eGrants portal per the application instructions linked above. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, January 10, 2025.

The AmeriCorps federal agency will evaluate all applications received during the National Competitive solicitation and make award determinations at the national level. The federal funds available for this national competition through the AmeriCorps federal agency will depend on annual appropriations. Only the AmeriCorps federal agency will administer the national competitive solicitation, with minimal assistance from the State in their solicitation procedures. The Governor’s Office for Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) will not issue a separate solicitation
