Applications for the Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program (TISAPP) Grant (RFGA#: GR-SABG-GOYFF-100123-00) are now being accepted. Approximately $4,000,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to implement trauma-informed, evidence-based/evidence-informed substance abuse prevention programming that is designed to increase protective factors and build resiliency among people of all ages.
The grant, with a maximum annual award of $200,000 per grantee, is renewable for a combined term of 3 years. The grant application will close at 11:59 PM (MST) on July 20, 2023. The Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include 501(c)(3) Organizations; Local, County-based Substance Abuse Prevention Coalitions; Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions and Tribal Communities; Public/Charter Schools/Districts; and State/County/City Government Entities.

The Trauma-Informed Substance Abuse Prevention Program (TISAPP) is federally funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG) distributed by the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). The grant is pursuant to the authority of Section 516 of the Public Health Service Act (45 C.F.R. 75.113 and Appendix XII to 45 C.F.R. Part 75) and is subject to the requirements, terms, and regulations of this statute.
