PHOENIX — Applications for the Arizona State Opioid Response Grant Program (RFGA#: SOR-DSG-19-080119-00) are now being accepted. More than $1.2 million will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona that have the capacity to support the full implementation of the Arizona Rx Drug Toolkit in their communities. The full implementation of the Arizona Rx Drug Toolkit would include program development related to each of the toolkit's five strategies. The grant, with a maximum annual award of $150,000 per grantee, is renewable for up to two years.
The grant application will close at 5 p.m. (MT) on September 18, 2019. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organizations; Local, county based substance abuse prevention coalitions, Arizona Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions and Tribal Communities; and any partnership with those organizations (an Arizona fiscal agent must be designated).
