Applications for the Children’s Justice Act (CJA) Grant (RFGA#: CJ-CSG-23-010123-00) are now being accepted. In alignment with the Arizona Children’s Justice Task Force Three-Year Assessment, approximately $180,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to improve state processes of responding to child abuse and neglect cases. Funded programs will reduce additional trauma and effectively support child victims.
The grant, with a maximum annual award of $50,000 per grantee, is renewable for a combined term of 3 years. The grant application will close at 12 midnight on October 19th, 2022. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include 501(c)(3) Organizations; Arizona local, county, or state government entities; Arizona Tribal Nations and communities; and any partnership of the above-listed organizations (a fiscal agent must be designated).

The funds awarded under this RFGA are federal and were made available by the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The grant is pursuant to the authority of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA)(42 U.S.C §5106c) and is subject to the requirements, terms, and regulations of this statute.
