Applications for the Arizona AmeriCorps Formula Planning Grant (RFGA#: AC-VSG-20-090120-00) are now being accepted. Approximately $450,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to develop a program that engages AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions/practices that extend organizational capacity to address critical community needs in one of the six Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) focus areas: disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environmental stewardship, healthy futures and veterans and military families.
The grant, with a maximum award of $75,000 per grantee, is a twelve (12) month contract. Successful applicants will be expected to apply for a new AmeriCorps competitive or formula grant for the FY21-22 grant year. The grant application will close at 12 midnight on April 27, 2020. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include Institutions of higher education; Local governments; 501(c)3 organizations; State agencies and Arizona Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions and Tribal Communities.
