The Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership (ASAP) is the statewide council on substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts. Authorized under Executive Order 2023-17 (which amends and supersedes Executive Order 2013-05), it comprises members representing state governmental bodies, federal entities, and community organizations.
This partnership can create workgroups necessary to facilitate further what is outlined in the body's executive order. Each workgroup is comprised of members, including issue-area experts and community stakeholders. The Partnership further develops its work through the following:
- Prevention Workgroup
- Substance Abuse Epidemiology (Epi) Workgroup
